Not a lot to report this week. This'll be a short one.
I'm pleased to report that Mario now has a baptismal date for June 18th! This will be my first baptismal date that's most likely going to go through! I'm pretty pumped, and Mario is great. Whenever he opens
the Book of Mormon he reads, like, a whole book. Just last week he told us everything he read in the book of Jacob, which he read in one night. He's great at spiritually putting two and two together, and was actually telling us about the law of chastity. We're just praying that nothing goes wrong...
We also saw a lot of less actives come to Noche de Amistad (Friendship Night) and church this week. It's so great to see all these people growing the desire to come back to church and receive the blessings of the sacrament again. Noche de Amistad this week was a karaoke 'Freeport's Got Talent'
night. We four missionaries were the judges, which was an absolute hoot. I'll send you a video of one of the contestants. The great thing is that Hispanics, by and large, really can't sing, but they absolutely love competition and a good time.
We've also been getting a lot of dinner appointments set up for this week. A sister fed us yesterday, and we have dinner appointments for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. That's a pretty great week :)
Well, really not much else to report. I'll take questions, though, if anyone emails me.
Love,
Elder Richard Brandt Hull
