This week wasn't one of our best numbers-wise, but it was super productive. One of the major events of the week was a bit of a funk. I just woke up weird. I was irritable, tired, and it was just super hard
to get going. English class that night cleared my head, and the week started getting better from there on out. We had the idea to pass around a sign-up schedule in English class, so that people can sign up
for times to get more help... and some missionary discussions ;)
Vicente will be leaving the 7th of December, so we're shooting for the last Sunday in November to baptize him before he leaves to Guatemala on vacation. He just needs to come to church! Walt, the kid my age I've referenced before, is doing better. He had a 3 Nephite-esque experience over Halloween (the details are officially classified), and we've been bumping into him all over the place. His progress is
incremental, but he's coming along just fine. I'd say he's actually one of my best friends on the mission.
Our move to our new apartment is still a work in progress. We had to have an exterminator come in and do his work beforehand, and we came to a battlefield of cockroach corpses, and a slaughterhouse of them in the fridge. We still have yet to go clean that out. Overall, though, the move has been pretty nice. I actually like our new apartment, cockroach history aside. The bathroom is nicer, and we get more sunlight in our apartment.
We had Stake Conference yesterday, and it was really interesting. Elder Bennet of the 70 (not the one who spoke to our mission and at General Conference) was one of the speakers, as well as the CO of the local precinct (108, I believe). We had to take a bus to get out there, and when we got back I took a nap without meaning to. I just kinda sat down on the couch and woke up an hour later.
Well, I'm getting pressed for time, but if you want me to answer some questions, I'd love to!
Love,
Elder Hull
