My update this week is going to be super short, the reason being that I'm pretty sick right now. I woke up on Sunday feeling a little fatigued, and with a slightly upset stomach, but nothing really came of it until this morning. Now I ache all over, and my stomach is very upset with me, and I may be getting a sinus infection or something. I couldn't get to sleep last night, so I've been trying to sleep this bug off.
Our week has been pretty good, though. We went to the temple twice, once for the young men, and once for the young single adults. Elder Ruiz got to baptize his first investigator, whose first temple
trip was on Saturday. We also got to confirm and baptize three sisters visiting from Utah, who didn't have any priesthood with them. We brought a chair up next to the font, did the confirmations, and sent
them into the font immediately after.
Other than that, we went before church and took Juan to church! Aaaah! I'm so happy, and it's a
miracle. Despite his grumbling about it being early, I think he really liked it.
Nothing too much more to report, other than the fact that both Elder Ruiz and I are staying together here in Bushwick for this next transfer. It's weird to think that I'm already two transfers into my mission!
Congratulations to Johnny Penrod on his call to Germany! I know the Lord has great things in store for him there. I'm going to go rest up for transfer meeting tomorrow, so I hope all of you are safe, happy, and healthy.
Love,
Elder Richard Brandt Hull
